In light of the January 12 earthquake in Haiti, which destroyed capital city Port-au-Prince and claimed the lives of more than 200,000, the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management has pledged a donation to Mercy Ships, a global charity that has operated hospital ships and mobilized life-saving resources to nations in need since 1978.

If you would like to contribute to the relief efforts, donations of any denomination may be made to Mercy Ships at www.mercyships.org. Donations may also be made to the Red Cross (www.redcross.org) or by texting ‘HAITI’ to 90999 (texting will automatically donate $10 to the Red Cross, and the donation will be added to your cell phone bill).
